Hi I am Sam and I run Wood and Wonder Studio out of Toronto Canada.
By day I work as a high rise construction site supervisor. Off the clock I am in the shop or by the printers making things with my hands. Woodworking started as a way to relax after long days on site and it slowly turned into a small business.
These days my focus is two things
• clean functional wooden pieces for real homes and real kitchens
• and high quality 3D printed organizers for complex board games
I am proud to be an official printer for organizer designs by John Reid also known as Nerd Workshop. John creates the tray systems and I handle the printing finishing and customer service. Together we help GMT and wargame players tame big boxes full of counters tiles and cards so they can get to the table faster.
My background in construction means I care about details and durability. Every print profile is tuned for strength flatness and fit. Every wood piece is cut sanded and finished one at a time in my small shop. I print to order using quality filament pack everything by hand and ship with care through trusted carriers.
What makes this shop different is the mix of trades and tabletop. You are not buying from a giant factory You are buying from one person who understands tools materials and the feeling of opening a box where everything finally has a place.
